With nearly 40 stocked trout streams and an equal number of smaller waters teeming with wild Brown Trout and native Brook Trout, Western Connecticut has an incredible range of waters to explore. Coupled with hundreds of miles of coastline offering access to saltwater species like Striped Bass and Bluefish as well as opportunities to chase Smallmouth Bass, Carp, Pike and other gamefish in warm-water environments, there’s always somewhere to go seek angling adventure and learn new locations and skills.

    (Join us to chase large, strong salmon stocked into the Naugatuck River every fall/winter from November-February)

  • Native Brook Trout Outings
    (We’ll explore some of the most remote and scenic small streams in Western CT in search of our only native trout species.)

  • Summer Smallmouth Fishing
    (Chase large “bronzebacks” in the Housatonic River wade fishing throughout the summer. Great for beginners and kids and also a new opportunity for experienced anglers looking to extend their season.)
